Yes, we can all use Google Search - but can you rreally "use" it?
Here are some simple tips and tricks to assist in your Googling.

TIP 1
Explicit Phrase
Search for "Google Search tips" rather than just typing Google Search tips, this narrows your search to the complete phrase. But if you want to exclude a word from your search, try this Google search tips - hacks will remove all entries that include hack. And lets say you want to incldue similar terms, then type "Google Search tips" ~ hints and this brings in more terms to the search result.

TIP 2
Search for file types
If you want to search for specific file types,simply add filetype:xxx[whatever file type you want] and it will bring up files of that caliber. For example, searching for football filetype:doc will bring up all doc documents about football.
By default, when you do a search, Google will include all the terms specified in the search. If you are looking for any one of one or more terms to match, then you can use the OR operator. (Note: The OR has to be capitalized).
